The 12/20 is good for working artificial lures over reefs and wrecks for pollack and bass, and for light drift fishing for sandbank plaice, trubot, rays, gurnards and codling. Over reefs and in deeper water choose the 20/30lb version which has the ability to fight big fish down deep. For wreck fishing you need the powerful 30/50lb rod to battle big conger, cod and ling.
