Penn Waveblaster EVO series is based on lightweight, low diametre, semi fast and taper blanks, the waveblaster range of rods encompasses the current trend for using versatile rods, ballenced towards fishing with lighter lines to maximise overall performance. This two piece, equal section rod is perfect for smaller species such as Dabs, Flounders, Whiting, Gurnard, Codling, Bass and Plaice either ledgering or drift fishing over sand. With a length of 8 feet the rod can also be used for working artificial sandeels and shads on flying collar rigs and Whitby rigs for Bass, Pollack and coalfish over reefs and wrecks. Many UK anglers also use ballanced 8-12Lb class tackle for maximum sport when targeting Tope over clean sand.
