The Penn 525 Super mag Extra has a completely new Mag set up with even more variable braking.
The new side plate sports a ratchet wheel that conteols a new magnet carrier. This gives an increased range of travel resulting in a much more refined and tuneable braking system. The origonal bearings have been replaced with ABEC 5 ceramic hybrid bearings for top level performance. If you need to cast bait over the 200 yard mark to reach fish on shallow ground this reel will oblige!
