By incorporating the Snood release in his rigs he is able to fish clipped down hook lengths up to 8ft long, he has found this to be an advantage and has won him a number of matches. The hook length is taken from a trapped swivel up to the Snood Release then down again to an Impact shield or lead. On contact with the water the Impact releases the hook and then the snood release then releases the hook length. Ideal for casting lures from the Beach.
