The Flatfish Open will take place on Sunday the 11th of April, 2010 from 11am to 5pm at Chesil Beach, Abbostbury.

The fishing will take place between defined boundaries between Abbotsburry Dragons Teeth to Hive Beach (you can drive between the boundaries) Fishing positions may not be reserved until the competitor has registered.

The target species for this competition are; Plaice, Sole, Flounder, Dabs etc excluding Rays. All fish are to be brought back to the registration point for measure by 6pm. After recording all fish are to be returned alive where possible unless being kept for the table.

Keep your fish alive for recording at the end of the day and win a prize!

Competitors are limited to fishing one rod with three hooks,

3rd place £150 3rd Longest aggregate length

longest individual fish length  £250

Large prize table including; Top Junior, Top Lady, Top OAP

All anglers will automatically entered into the £100 raffle

Entry Fee; Adults £15, Juniors & OAP's £5, Optional Pairs £5 per angler

Fishing times; 11.00 to 17.00 hrs, back to the car park by 18.00 hrs
