The Weymouth deep sea charter boat angling fleet are renowned for being amongst the top boats in the UK.

Fishing is varied and exciting from catching a 100lb+ conger eel off one of the many wartime wrecks that litter the seabed around Weymouth and Lyme Bay to catching the hard fighting trigger fish from the wrecks of The Adelaide near Chesil Beach or The Hood adjacent to Portland Harbour where the Olympics are being held in 2012.

You don't have to steam miles either to get some great deep sea fishing as the inshore fishing along parts of the spectacular Jurassic coastline is superb. The summer months show black bream, bass, pollack, mackerel, smoothhound, cod, conger, gurnard and many other species. In the autumn and winter months the huge shoals of whiting arrive with lunker cod in amongst them. On the Adamant and Kidney Banks huge blonde rays are caught along with undulates and thornbacks.

We have the famous Shambles Bank where record breaking plaice, turbot and brill are caught. Off Portland we have The Race... Not for the faint-hearted, this is where the tides meet and create a massive cauldron of white water, making for some of the best bass fishing in Europe.

All this fabulous fishing at your fingertips and fantastic sceanery what more could you ask for. (I know guaranteed sunshine but hey ho). I could waffle about boat fishing until the cows come home, that should be the boats come in, as it is my main passion, especially looking and targeting species, its brilliant when.....  there I go again, stop me. You have a go, you decide. Now back to business....

The quality of the fishing and the largest, most modern charter boat fleet in the country has led to Weymouth holding the prestigious CIPS World Championships organised by the NFSA this year, and in 2011 we are going to stage the European Championships for the European Federation of Sea Anglers (EFSA) for a record third time.

Unlike most other ports we advocate catch and release, actively supporting the "Recycle Fish" campaign run by the Weymouth Skippers.

Our motto is "vos non desiderium is pro tea, is libero". Okay we agree that sounds pompous and unless you're a doctor or a botanist latin is about as useful as a chocolate fire guard, so "If it's not for tea, set it free" thats good old plain english that we hope everyone will understand and hopefully put into practice.
